Online Appointments with Push Doctor

You can book an appointment to speak to a clinician online by video, in the comfort of your own home, using Push Doctor. Simply click this link, create an account, and book your appointment. You can also send text and images on this platform too, helping you to get the advice and support you need.

Important information when visiting our practice

The NHS visitor guidance will stay in place across all health services including GP practices, despite the COVID-19 restrictions being lifted on Monday 19 July 2021, to ensure patients and staff are protected.

Staff, patients and visitors will also be expected to continue to follow social distancing rules when visiting any care setting as well as using face coverings, mask and other personal protection equipment.

COVID-19 Vaccine and Travel Update

From 17 May 2021, people in England who have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 can demonstrate their vaccination status for international travel. A full course is currently two doses of any approved vaccine. Vaccine status will be available from: 

  • the NHS App which you can download from app stores 

  • the NHS website (from 17 May 2021)

It may take more than a week for your identity to be checked and verified so you can use these services.

If you cannot access these online services, and you have had 2 vaccines, you can request a paper letter from the NHS by calling 119. Only call 119 if you had your second dose more than 5 working days ago. It may take 7 working days for the letter to arrive.

This practice is not able to provide you with a letter that shows your COVID-19 vaccination status.

When you're planning your travel, check the latest information on demonstrating your COVID-19 status when travelling abroad on the gov.uk website. Make sure there is time to get  proof of your vaccination status before you leave.

Vaccination programme

We are delighted to be offering the COVID-19 vaccine to our patients, with the rollout well underway as we vaccinate our more vulnerable patients, care home residents and staff first.

We understand there is a huge amount of interest in the vaccine however, please do not contact the Practice to book an appointment. The vaccination programme will take months, it will not happen in a few days. Please be patient, do not worry, no one will be excluded from the programme and when it is the right time for you to be vaccinated, we will contact you to book your appointments. In the meantime, do continue to follow all the guidance to control the virus and save lives.

New GDPR regulations 2018 - If you are collecting a prescription on behalf of someone else then you will need to obtain a authorisation form for them to give consent.  This can be obtained from Reception at the Practice.  We will no longer be able to give you someone else's prescription without written consent documented on our computer system.

We believe the Medical Centre is easily accessible for those with disabilities with all patient services on the ground floor, corridors wide enough for manual wheelchairs and the provision of a disabled toilet at the front of the building accessed using a Radar key.

If you have a communication problem of any kind please let us know and we will work with you to make sure we provide information in the way that would help you.  If you need the practice to provide information in a different format such as large print or easy read please let us know and we will do our best to arrange this.  We also have a hearing Loop if you experience difficulty hearing at the Reception desk or with in your appointment with the Clinical Team.

Please get in contact with the Surgery and let us know you are a carer.  We have experienced staff to point you in the right direction of help and support if you need.  You are entitled to a free flu jab.  Book now
